OVERVIEW
When it comes time to actually present a set of polished logo options to the client - the stakes are high. You want the client to be able to connect with each option, but also see them as separate, unique directions with the goals tied to their product or business, not just to their personal taste.
How you present logos is important - by splitting out each logotype, separating from its accompanying mark, positioning each among competitor marks and brand imagery, the client has the opportunity to see the value and relevance of each logo and the sum of all its parts.
DETAILS
- Present in Black & White (if it doesn't work without color, it won't work at all)
- Place each logotype on both white and reversed out in black. This proves the success of its use in both situations.
- Follow up each option by placing the logotype among a field of competitor logos. The client will be able to clearly see how their potential logo will hold up within the industry.
- Split out the mark (if it exists) and present on separate pages, isolated. The client should be able to see how the mark holds up on its own for use in specific situations where the wordmark can't be used (think social profile media icons).
- Finally, wrap up the presentation with a set of high quality brand imagery applications. This helps bring to life each logo in a way it will likely be used in marketing and advertising use cases. Clients will again be able to see the brand come to life, and who doesn't love a little eye candy?

An icon set is something that should be simple, but never simplistic. These icons can be used across platforms, mediums, and channels. From a semiotics standpoint, these types of easily recognized symbols can be powerful beyond measure.
Whether used alone or in groupings, this stylized icon set was created to be brand specific while still remaining universal.
